The procedures involved in the field of permanent cosmetics require a technician who is proficient in the principles of colour theory and has an aesthetic eye for nuances of colour, balance and symmetry.

It is important to employ the skills of a technician who has a comprehensive knowledge of these areas.

Steven Solomon originally trained as a graphic designer before working professionally as a film and commercial make-up artist for the past eighteen years. He has worked in all areas of the profession, from work on feature films to music promos, catwalk and advertising.

He currently lectures on the techniques of film and television make-up at a London University in addition to his work as a micropigmentation specialist.

Steven became introduced to the field of permanent cosmetics whilst working as a film make-up artist in Los Angeles. He subsequently trained both in the States and in London and has worked professionally in this area for the last fifteen years. He has also trained beauty professionals in the art of permanent cosmetics for the past twelve years.
